Principle : Shorten a link to view an ad for 5 seconds before returning to the destination page. You do not understand ? This is normal. Here is an example : Click the link normally send to google and see what happens. Then click on "skip ad" .
If you have an account on a URL shortener, you will be paid for each click on your links. To shrink a link, nothing more easy : all sites offer a large field to enter the URL to shorten.
However, it should spread your links on a large scale in order to obtain a substentiel gain. If you have a site with lots of outbound clicks that can be profitable. A massive diffusion on social networks is another solution.
I do not recommend any attempt to cheat to increase your page views because it will only get you into trouble. Example not to follow : put a link on facebook saying " Click here to get a free iphone " or other gimmick.
For my part, as a vistor, I hate dropping a shortcut link as it is a very intrusive advertising, so do not use it no matter because of the risk of losing audience.
Two difficulties :
- Low-paying : $ 2 to $ 10 per 1000 clicks / page views
- Difficult to implement because few appreciate Users
Market : Dominated by adf.ly (all of a sudden say, as if there was no point) in terms of audience but direct competitors with good quality. Note that many URL shorteners does not offer compensation (we do not list here, as well this feature will be mentioned).
