I'm a pro bitcoin trader on localbitcoins and other OTC platforms. Potwallet is basically localbitcoins for potcoin. I figure I'd try it. However I am seeing lots of reports of people having withdrawal issues there. Withdrawals on localbitcoins and most exchanges are nearly-instant and automated, except when the hot wallet is empty.
I'm thinking about buying a small amount of potcoins on Poloniex or Bittrex to start. Like 1,500 POT or so. And withdrawing to potwallet to sell for prepaids. But if they are a scam site, that's still $160+ down the drain.
Personally for OTC trading, I would rather trade with people out of escrow (provided I go first since I'm the one with the reputation in the OTC crypto scene) and save the fees rather than trust my potcoins with a third party that I'm not sure is trustworthy (localbitcoins is proper. They always pay. At most you have to wait awhile for them to fill their hot wallet. Potwallet seems sketch). But lots of traders are wary of getting scammed, there are dishonest traders out there who will scam outside of escrow for pathetic amounts of money even, this is why I actively trade on escrow sites (and eat the 1% fee on those sites) and want to trade on potwallet.
