The Bellewaerde Park is an leisure park and also a zoo.
It is located in Belgium, near Ypres, and about 40 km from Lille. It has existed since 1954, making it one of the oldest leisureparks in Europe. It receives around 800,000 visitors each year and is open from late March to mid-October

The leisure park offers 30 attractions. Most are available to everyone in the family, like the son of Bigfoot, a 3D animation. But there are also 4 spectacular roller coasters. The animal park section features several hundred animals from around the world, and shows with raptors.
