I am convinced that this is a fake company with fake investment. Here are my reasons.

The address: They claimed to be located at 200-275 Portage Ave, Winnipeg. That's the address of Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, a first nation advocacy group. I had already informed them in regards to this.

Business registry: The registry is with the Ontario government listing their principle business operation at 77 McClintock Crescent, Thornhill, Ontario. Wrong province and wrong address.

IIROC Claim: They claimed to be regulated by the IIROC. I had emailed IIROC and they replied, "World Way Capital is not regulated by IIROC. The IIROC web site has a list of Dealers we do regulate. Here is the link: http://www.iiroc.ca/industry/Pages/Dealers-We-Regulate.aspx"

Crypto investment: Companies dealing in virtual currencies must register with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (Fintrac). I was on the phone with Fintrac. They are not a money service company. They are a security company. They are also not registered with Fintrac.

Security License: They do not have a license with the Manitoba Security Commission.

Bogus contacts: They've made investors to represent the company on the basis of the "Canadian Law." Which Canadian law? Every province in Canada has its own financial law. I was licensed by the BC Insurance Council. If I were to sell insurance, Seg Fund or mutual fund in another province, I need to be licensed by another provincial government.

Bank of Canada claim: They claimed that the Bank of Canada will guarantee their investors under section 12 of the Canadian Deposit Guarantee and Investor Compensation Act (IIROC). Since I had already established that they are not regulated by the IIROC, this is a lie. Also the Canadian Deposit guarantee and Investor Compensation Act does not exist. In fact, the Bank of Canada had just emailed me. I quote directly from their staff, "The partnership agreement you have been sent is fake and we can confirm that the offer being made by this company is a scam. The Bank of Canada is not involved with World Way Capital in any investment scheme. We are the Central Bank of Canada and perform a monetary policy role."
