How to manage my member account

What's the purpose of my dashboard?

Your dashboard sums up your activity and shows your avatar, username, badge, the tokens you own and your location.

The links at the top of your dashboard allow you to access the information situated on the "My profile" tab.
All you are allowed to do as a member of NBR is summarized in the middle of the page.

How do I set my Email preferences?

At any time, you can disable Emails sending, through your member account, by clicking on the "My profile" button, and then on "Emails preferences":

Will my Email address be sold for marketing purposes?

Absolutely not!

Your email address is solely used by you for purposes of logging into your account, and us for emailing you (in case you activate our tracking/follow-up service).

Your email address will remain confidential and will never be used for spamming, will never be sold, traded or donated to a third party.

I registered but I haven't received your Email confirmation...

Please check your spam folder.

If you're still not receiving it, please double-check that you signed up with the correct email address.

If your email address is correct: do not worry and wait a few minutes: during peak times, it can take our system longer to send it out.

How do I edit my profile?

Go on your member account and click on the "My profile" button, then on "Edit my account".

All your personal datas can be changed, such as your avatar for example.

How do I delete my account?

Go on your member account, click on the "My profile" button, then on "Edit my account". You will need then to click on "here", at the bottom of the page:

Finally, enter your password and click on the "Delete my Account" button:

How do I add a referral link to a review?

This action requires tokens. If you don't have enough, click here to find out how to obtain more.

Two situations may arise.

The first situation possible: no referral link/code is yet linked to the review. In such a case, please follow the above steps:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on the « Option » button, « Find referrals », « My referral link on this review »:

  3. Then follow the onscreen instructions:

The second situation possible: a referral link/code has already be linked to the review by a user. In such a case, you will need to reserve the referral link/code by possibly participating in an auction if there are other users in the same case.

  2. Click on the « Option » button, « Find referrals », « Reserve referral link » :

  3. Then follow the onscreen instructions:

FYI: If the site or the app you want to own only offers a referral code (not a link), you will first need to own its review and enter its redirect link. Only then you will able to replace it with your code.

How do I change a referral link/code?

As an owner of a referral link/code of a review, you're allowed, at any time, to:

  • change it
  • extend its display time
  • cancel it

To ensure this, please follow the above steps:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on the « My Business » button, « My active referral links » :

  3. Make the desired changes:

FYI: your unspent tokens will be credited back to you.

How do I get referrals?

Your referral link is hidden behind every "Visit" button of the review you own. Any registration of visitors on this specific site through one of these "visit" buttons will give a new referral.

How do I get tokens?

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on the « My Business » button,then on « My chips ». There are 2 options: win tokens or buy some:

You can win tokens for free by contributing as follows:
  • by adding and/or editing reviews.

  • by writing articles qualitative enough to be published on our site AND indexed. You could win up to 1000 tokens. For more information, click here.

  • by creating rankings (this action is being created and will shortly be available).

How do I find a member/a friend?

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on the « Social » button, then on the appropriate request:

What is a badge?

It defines the experience and level of contribution of a member on NBR.
There are 4 badges: the blue one (for new members), the bronze one, the silver one and the gold one.

How do I get a badge?

Simply by being active on NBR!

For example, your blue badge will be upgraded in bronze as soon as you complete your profile.
Then, you will get the silver one and the gold one according to the number of reviews that you create, the number of comments that you leave, as well as your popularity on our site for example (number of followers).

It's a list of your 5 favourite sites that appears on your wall (visible to all members) and which allows you to promote your referral links.
It is very usefull as your referrals will automatically promote the first site of your list on their own Toplink (a five-level sponsorship).
Also, it allows to increase the visibility of each one of these 5 sites.

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on the « My profile » button => « My TopLink »:

  3. Fill in the part « Manage my Toplink »:

  4. Click on the « Create my TopLink » button, at the bottom of the page, so that this information is taken into account.

Our moderators are volunteers and are only paid a few tokens for every action they make.

  • their technical knowledge,
  • their analytical capacity,
  • their command of the French and/or English language...
