Amazon Prime Video : it's a subscription created by Amazon.com, allowing an access to movies and series in over 200 countries.
To that end, you must subscribe to Amazon Prime that offers 2 types of subscriptions:
- either a monthly subscription @3,99EUR (untill 31/03/18) then 5,99EUR/month,
- or an annual subscription @49EUR.
This subscription allows an access to an important catalogue of movies and series, as well as other advantages, not associated to the VOD (like, for example, the free and unlimited delivery of million articles on Amazon, a space storage for your pictures etc)
The advantages:
- off-line mode,
- content available in Ultra HD
- one of the abonnement faisant partie des moins chers sur le marché
- viewing available on 3 screens at the same time.
Even if Amazon Prime offers its own original series/movies (The Grand Tour, Sneaky Pete, The Man in the High Castle...), it remains further behind Netflix' reputation...

I have Amazon and Netflix. Use both of them on my smart TV. Amazon is cheaper than Netflix but then again it has maybe 20-25% of Netflix's total catalog, if that much. It's got some TV shows I like so it's definitely worth it, for me at least. Before you subscribe take a look at the original shows made by Amazon and see if it'd be worth paying the subscription for you.
