MinerGate
MinerGate is a cloud mining site and a mining pool.
The fields provided on this page relate only to MinerGate's cloud mining activity.
It is the first pool that provides the service of the merged mining. This means that while mining on our pool, you can mine different parts simultaneously, without lowering the hash rate for the major piece.
They support BITCOIN (BTC) as well as MONERO (XMR).

They allow you to rent hash power also for bitcoin mining (see https://fr.minergate.com/faq/how-to-mine-btc-ltc for instructions.)
They have an affiliate program where you can earn from 30% up to 75% of the minergate profits of your downline after getting more than 30 referrals!
Basically you earn 30% of your referrals' taxes.
From 31 godchildren, you earn 75% of the tax.

The platform includes a calculator, so you can calculate your hash speed to discover your estimated profit for mining!
The platform also includes a chat based on your local language (not all countries).

Minergate is scam... Here is what they do. First their native application steals hash by splitting the process into 2 so what you get is half the hash. This can be verified in Linux by reviewing the /proc/$pid and list of open files for the process.. Second Miner gate steals from the over all pool..This is proven by the pool hash rate and probability of finding a block.. It is true that regardless of hash rate finding a block is not a perfect science however the consistence differences are too common to be coincidental . Third Minergate makes every effort of hiding its location and business information unlike its competitors...They had a glitch and I think I was able to find there location as a Slavic type Country (Russia, Ukraine or something like that)...Fourth Minergate Cloud service for Bitcoin hides when it finds a block overall by way of numbers they keep 85% of what you mine..

As at 20/5/17 their service is very poor. Despite its "Smart" Mining feature, their mining software is terribly inefficient.
Prohashing.com is far better. It can be more difficult to configure, but once you learn its far far far better than Minergate. Prohashing also has smart mining that chooses the most profitable coins, and they pay you out in any coin you want (as long as its an X11 or Scrypt coin, such as Litecoin and Doge).
Their website lacks security, and accounts are continually hacked (2 Factor Authentication MUST be enabled or you can kiss your coins goodbye). Despite how much of a problem this is, they don't really warn new people about it.
Their chatroom is absurdly slow and barebone, and they will ban people for talking about other pools or mining services positively. They are paranoid.
They are often slow to respond to support tickets. Their chatroom is often full of people asking what their withdrawals are still pending. If you use a wallet, or a good exchange, you know how fast crypto transactions can be, yet Minergate's withdrawals can take DAYS or even an entire week.
They offer cloud mining, but why bother? Nicehash and Genesis are much better.
Many people suspect them of being tied to the sh*tcoins like Bytecoin and its friends. Google Bytecoin scam to learn why that coin is to be avoided. The fact that its value went up recently doesnt make it a good coin.
I recommend Prohashing as a far better alternative. If you need help getting started mining there, just ask on the forums.
Also, if youre happy just being paid in Bitcoin, Nicehash's miner is really easy to use.
